Loulou de Villiers,
NEW 12/4/11
He is approved with the AES, Equicours and Selle Francais. This horse needs very little introduction!! Now returned from France!!! Loulou de Villiers, by Concord, out of a Starter mare. Loulou de Villiers competed with great success in the UK. At 5 he jumped double clear in every 5 year old class on the sunshine tour where he had his only fence down in the final to be the fastest 4 faulter. He then went on to great success including jumping clears in 7 year old classes, Sussex Area Champion, Hickstead Grade C Champion etc before being sold back to his native France. He has numerous foals on the ground which have gone on to success in eventing and sport horse showing classes and BSJ competitions. Eldest now competing in newcomers. He was the only stallion at the Equicours grading to get any 9's out of 10. He got one for his head and a second for his power and respect over the fence. Loulou is by the KWPN stallion Concord who is a renowned producer of top class show jumpers competing at the highest level. On his dam side we find Starter. Another famous horse with Starter being his dam sire is Baloubet du Rouet. Loulou's great dam's sire is Fulminent the very good thoroughbred stallion which is where he gets his extra refinement from. Loulou has a half sister called Fan Fan Devilliers by Rubis Rouge who has a three day event performance rating of 133 (winner of French National three day events). His grand dam (Venoise) is the dam of Gerboise D (1972 by Starter) who as well as being an international show jumper with an index of 141 has also competed in three day events with national level success (index 124). Gerboise also has a full sister, Nova V (1979) who was also a national level three day event winner with a performance rate of 129 and is the dam of Foxlight (1993 by Vancouleurs) who has also won at National Level with an eventing performance index of 127. Reine Des Pres seems to have had only one other foal than Venoise and this horse (Garaut) has a three day eventing index of 135 and a dressage index of 130. I am informed that index of 120-139 is equivalent to black type (winners of National Competitions) and that over 140 is like bold black type winners of international classes. Loulou produces good strong foals with presence. He is a lovely looking sire for eventing and show jumping mares. Fee for 2011 £325 Tel 07876235943 or e-mail susanwoodall305@hotmail.com or visit http://www.moncompetitionstallion.co.uk/ |
