Happy New Year!!! me and harry went to a place called Somerford that is about an hour away from my yard! we went in an OAKLEY SUPREMACY!!!! it was sooo cool! harry loved travelling in style! whilst we were ther we went around the farm ride and we had a good gallop and jumped all th jumps! wen hes out doing x-c and that he clears the jumps by miles! after we went on the farm ride, we went onto sj and had a lesson off this man! he was ok, but extremely critical! then after that we went and took him to th x-c field, which was absolutely huge! (wen u 1st sold harry to me i had a problem stopping in open spaces like fields, but he was so good and we went into th water + everything! he loved it!) so this year i think im going to do x-c with him seems as though i did mostly showing + working hunter last year! just to say happy new year 2 u and the team, have a good 1! thanx again 4 selling harry to me! i luv him lots like jelly tots 4ever + always! We bought him for myself to do more competition work on, (as my old horse is purely dressage now) and as a schoolmaster to give my very novice husband more experience (even though Harry horse is only 5!) He has proven to be all that June said he was, fantastic temperament, bold jumper and has brought my novice husband on far. I competed him at Porth y Post Cross Country in September where he jumped a beautiful clear. He then went on take my husband drag hunting with the Anglesey Hounds in November, jumped everything insight and made my husband look like a real pro! He has also been placed well with myself in the North Wales Dressage Group Competitions and is now fit and ready to go and complete his first one day event in 2006. Both myself and my husband are now fighting over who gets to compete on him, and we are both looking forward to a very successful 2006 on Harry Horse! Thanks to June and all her team for the great education they gave Harry, as all too often you see good young horses ruined by poor training at an early age. I will be phoning June in the future when we are looking for other horses. |
